Chukwuma "Chuk" Obiechefu is the CEO and Managing Attorney of Obi Law Group. Chuk has dedicated himself to educating and empowering clients through proactive legal guidance, advocacy and defense in business and employment law matters. 

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Chuk is a first-generation Nigerian American who combines his diverse background with his legal expertise. Chuk focused his studies on International Relations at Georgia State University for his undergraduate degree and went on to graduate the University of Georgia School of Law.  While in law school he worked for the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs as a legal extern, working on cases brought under the Federal Tort Claims act and federal employment litigation. He began his professional career working in the real estate, construction, compliance and asset management, gaining invaluable insights in advising multidisciplinary teams, executives, and managing business litigation and transactional matters. 

Now at Obi Law Group, Chuk leverages his wealth of experience to advise clients on general business and employment, and related civil matters.

In his free time, Chuk enjoys cooking and learning new recipes, historical literature, volunteering, weightlifting, and traveling. He focuses his volunteer work on organizations committed to strengthening and protecting families and underserved communities.

Marcus Whitaker is a veteran sports agent and licensed attorney who provides integral assistance in OLG's Business and Intellectual Property Practice. 

As a former college athlete, professional athlete, and pro athlete trainer, Marcus has decades of experience navigating the sports industry and managing the careers and business interests of athletes and entertainers.  Marcus is one of the few dedicated sports and entertainment lawyers providing high quality, concierge level representation to the top athletes and entertainers.  

Marcus also leverages his experience as a pro athlete trainer and in athlete development to assist clients in navigating their athletic and entertainment careers. He is a licensed NBA, NCAA, and FIBA agent, and seasoned contract negotiator and dealmaker. Marcus is one of the few attorneys in the country building capacity in the burgeoning field of Name, Image, and Likeness licensing.

Drew Jacobs is currently licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Ohio, pending New York admission, and is a licensed National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) Contract Advisor.

Drew is a former D1 college basketball player and trainer. He has advised professional athletes across a wide spectrum of disciplines. He dedicates a large part of his practice to supporting athletes and entertainers. 

His firm focuses on estate planning & asset protection, as well as business general counsel services such as entity selection, business formation, contract drafting & negotiation, and a broad spectrum of business transactions. He has worked with numerous high-achieving individuals and families on a variety of estate planning matters in the Cincinnati, New York, and New Jersey area.
