Chukwuma "Chuk" Obiechefu is the CEO and Managing Attorney of Heartfelt Counsel. “Obi” means “heart”, and Chuk has dedicated himself to getting to the heart of the issues and problems facing his clients and the community.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Chuk is a first-generation Nigerian American who combines his diverse background with his legal expertise. Chuk focused his studies on International Relations at Georgia State University for his undergraduate degree and went on to graduate the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school he worked for the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs as a legal extern, working on cases brought under the Federal Tort Claims act and federal employment litigation. He began his professional career working in the real estate, construction, compliance and asset management, gaining invaluable insights in advising multidisciplinary teams, executives, and managing business litigation and transactional matters.
Now at Obi Law Group, Chuk leverages his wealth of experience to advise clients on general business, estate planning and related intellectual property matters. He uses the law and his faith in service of strengthening the families and communities he serves.
